Saturday, I'm doing stuff around the house. Angie is leaving with her girlfriend for a week in Tampa and I think I'm giong to have to take Captain Jon Luc to the Vet for the long knap. He's been my buddy for 11 years, so I'm not looking forward to it.

Thanks Rick. This morning was very sad, but the Vet was wonderful and let me hold him until the end. He was my little buddy, but he was very sick - cancer.

Then the Pope passed. Very sad. I'm just glad I get to hang out around fishing stuff tomorrow and talk fishing at the federation meeting at Bass Pro. This stuff really is my therapy.

I have the whole week to think about and try to get ready for fishing. My little wife is jetting off to Tampa Bay with her girlfriend for a week of sun and fun. That may actually help me get some things done (and I earn HUGE husband bonus points for 'letting' her have the week of fun while I stay home slaving away and taking care of 'Jabba the cat - Max').
