Okay poorboy try this list out.
The Austin Powers Trilogy on DVD. (Only because George Lucas sold out to Hollywood and quit making good movies)
Five gallons of soft plastic. That should make me a couple thousand senko's, ever since I started pouring my own, the guys at work have deemed me the nickname "Joshi-moto"
Gift certificates to Gander Mountain, They have the best price on the handgun I want, Springfield XD in 9mm, actually I won't buy it until I have enough money for two of them. I ain't going down for lack of fire power.
Some new jeans. Oddly enough, eversince I've got a desk job... I've put on 25 pounds and things are getting a bit snug!!!!
Silly little trinkettes that I have no use or place for, just like you, I don't ask for them but I still get em.
And lastly... implants for my girlfriend. Why...? Who cares!!! If she's wanting to do that, I'm all for it!!! Yeah Baby...yeah
Great Idea PB!! This was fun.
Josh
sorry Joshi-moto

Johnny Cash cd ( dont know what its called, but its the one with Delias Gone. ) That would be 1993's Rick Rubin produced "American Recordings"... As for me, I pretty much just ask for Gift Certificates...Bass Pro, Cabelas, Gander, and Home Depot are usually at the top of the list.

[shadow=red,left,300]**AMENDED**[/shadow]
ahh the Christmas list, here goes...
1) Gift Card from Cabelas, I want their AGM batteries
2) Radio, my office is too quiet
3) Blanket, my mother-in-law always gets one for me, last year it was a leather blanket??...i thought blankets were suppose to keep you warm?
[glow=red,2,300]3-1/2) More vacation days for my wife so we can spend more time together...Revtro made me feel guilty...I hate that![/glow] 4) Hand Warmers, last year my daughter bought me 62 packs, she said she just took a big handful..i think she had help!
5) Can't ask for implants for my wife (although I wouldn't complain) 4 of her friends got them since last August...sore subject around the house. Instead I want a Classic Patterns DVD...harmless..
6) I want both parts of #5!!

Hmm.. Gotta go with: 1988 or 89 Fender Strat Plus (saw one the other day I fell in love with) No more freakin' snow! (I know it's a big one, but you have not because you ask not!) A miracle weight loss program in which I can eat whatever I want whenever I want and still lose weight. (same rule as above applies) More vacation days for my wife so we can spend more time together. New Apple Powerbook to replace my old iBook.
Ok, so now what I actually might get: BPS Cards of course. Socks. Underwear (preferably Spiderman underoos) Can't believe I just said that. It's been a long day. Jeans and sweatshirts. An antique lure for my collection.

I like the miracle weight loss deal. I live way too close to several really good Mexican restaurants... My wife doesn't really need more days off (she would disagree actually) but a miracle clear for allergies to practically everything (I think even me sometimes) would REALLY help a lot.
As far as the implant discussions, I have to do a little cleanup since this is a PG-13 site I'm not really clear on whether that is PG-13 or not (I've lost my rules book). I'll see what I can do with the English language and you guys will need to bare with me (that doesn't sound right either). My wife actually mentioned this one time, but she seems to have changed her mind, forgot, or won't get the 2nd job (that could also possibly finance my fishing...)
(And while on the subject, I will NOT be sitting on PoorBoy's - or anyone else's - lap... It did remind me that I thought last year about dressing up as Santa Claus last Halloween for work, but the mostly women I work for would probably just get me in a lot of trouble - and I'd have to fill out forms, in triplicate, explaining to my wife what really happened...)

Poorboy,
I just put a check in the mail for stricker's DVD, I read a lot of positive feedback on his website and LSCN.net
Also, I would like to add to my list.
A great big apology to Mr. Kimmel, sometimes I forget to keep things neet and clean.
"Lord I apologize for the talking of implants and getting everybody all stirred up... and the starving pigmy's down there in New Guiney... ahmen.
No seriously Dan, I'm sorry and I'll be on my best behavior from now on.
Josh

Well without getting to philosophical or bantering whether it's Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays here are the lyrics to a Goo Dolls song that fits this thread. Goo Goo Dolls that's right thought the same thing when I heard the groups name, they don't play them much on my country or oldies stations but, it goes to show you you have to keep an open mind and give things a chance. The song is really quite good.
And you ask me what I want this year And I try to make this kind and clear Just a chance that maybe we'll find better days Cuz I don't need boxes wrapped in strings And desire and love and empty things Just a chance that maybe we'll find better days
So take these words And sing out loud Cuz everyone is forgiven now Cuz tonight's the night the world begins again
And it's someplace simple where we could live And something only you can give And thats faith and trust and peace while we're alive And the one poor child that saved this world And there's 10 million more who probably could If we all just stopped and said a prayer for them
So take these words And sing out loud Cuz everyone is forgiven now Cuz tonight's the night the world begins again
I wish everyone was loved tonight And somehow stop this endless fight Just a chance that maybe we'll find better days
So take these words And sing out loud Cuz everyone is forgiven now Cuz tonight's the night the world begins again Cuz tonight's the night the world begins again
Just call me crazy, but this thread made me think of this song.

Now with that out of the way I want that Stricker DVD and 2 new spinning rods and a couple of baitcasters with some of those wind dem up things that hold the line. Wouldn't mind getting some gear to poor my own soft plastics as well and then I could throw them in the face of my Orvis make your own flies to catch little fish relatives. So much for better days. <{{}}><
