Killed the bass yesterday. Got over to Muskegon and fished for about 4 hours before the wind laid down and the bites stopped. Caught between 30 and 35 with the largest largemouth 3.5 and the big smallie 2.75. All but two came on white spinnerbaits in shallow water around docks or rip rap. Probably 5 were three or over and another ten were around the 2.5 mark. If preseason fishing hurts the bass you will be hard pressed to convince me. These things were all FAT and healthy. Hope to get up there again soon.

Sounds like Muskegon is doing good. That's some good bass fishing for anywhere. Glad you had a great day. They make up for those tough days when the bass want you to really work at it.
