Email this guy: Anthony Adams at aadams@americanbassanglers.com He used to live up that way and has been fishing both lakes for years, and years, and years. He will be more than happy to help you out. He is a good guy and likes to share info. PoorBoy himself

Hey guru, I wrote the article that is referenced at the teardropbass.com website. Visit the website and use the email link there. I answer all the emails for the web page. Don't know who CWINSIII is but they live in Interlochen and that's where Duck and Green are so they probably are a great source as well if they are willing to divulge info. I will be fishing Duck this week probably twice. Our last tournament, that I missed due to boat trouble, was on Green. Will be posting a short write up done by someone else on that event soon on the web page.

Hello Dan S. I posted last fall, I just moved to Interlochen last summer. I will come to your classic and introduce myself to you. I'm just learning the lakes so I don't have much information.
I just came from the NBAA on Green tonight 15.8 lbs won it. Big bass was 6.62 lbs smally. The biggest smally I have ever seen alive.

Ain't Green fun. Some big fish in that lake. Fished Duck today. Saw two bass beds on the gravel with fish on them. No kidding. Also saw two other bass near a bed and they were doing the spawning dance. This full moon does strange things. Tried to get one of the fish on the bed to bite. Was spooky. Would come and look at the baits but wasn't interested. Fishing was kind of tough for Duck. Caught about 10 bass with about 4 keepers and one was a real nice smallie. I doubt I'll be at the Classic. Only fished two of our club tournaments this year due to an extened vacation to Tahoe and Vegas and then had boat trouble. I am going to fish Duck again this Sunday in our Host tournament. We sell adds in a flyer and if you buy a host add we take them out fishing and put on a mini tournament for the hosts. They each fish with one of our tournament guys and the winning host wins their $200 add money back. We then take them to Sunday brunch their at the Hoffenbrau. What a spread they have. Makes a fun day. Host tournament is from 7-11 and then we will be at the Hoffenbrau. Stop by. I have a cabin near Irons and so I keep my boat up here and fish this northwest corner. Great place to fish. If I were to relocate though it would be to the Interlochen area. Smallmouth heaven. Leelanau, Duck, Green, Long, Bear, Portage, Crystal, and then there are the GT Bays.

After that nbaa tournament on tuesday I fished green lake tonight. I fished the first hour with a 1/2 oz spinnerbait and only caught one small fish .Some of the nbaa guy's have been getting them on spinnerbaits I didn't have any luck. The last hour I fished a chug-r and on one 100 yard stretch I had 6 bass over 4 lbs hit the chug-r. These smally's are monsters when they hit a chug-r. When the first one hit I just about messed myself.
Dan K. can you explane how to post a picture on the site.
Thanks Dan K.

Wow again! That had to be a BLAST!!!! You need to have a picture uploaded somewhere on the Internet to post it here. There are places you can post graphics for free including many ISP providers who offer personal storage space - like AOL where I have my old web pages and some graphics. (I still have to get that all those off of there, but guys are still going there.) Since you're a great guy, if you don't have a place to store the picture and link to it, email the graphic file to me. I'll upload it and give you the web address to link to. Use the graphics button on this site to insert an image tag ' full web address[/url]' after I give you the address to show the graphic. I can put it in a size that doesn't make the page out of whack.

It was the best time fishing I have had in about 2 years. I went back Saturday morning with some big expetations and those big smallmouth got switched with some 17 inch largemouth that would just barely nip the back hook. I kind on feel like I got jipped or something. I'm going to spend some time on Green and try to get a six pounder and then I will post a picture.
Thanks
Dan
