I have a club tournament on Wixom in two weeks and I would appreciate any information about the lake that could help me out. Thanks!

Wixom will be in a good solid summer pattern by then. Don't waste much time in the boating channels or cuts. David's Drain is the only one deep enough to hold any good fish that late into summer. Any good main lake structure you can find will hold fish. Try a topwater early in the morning, but only if you see some action around you on top. I would suggest that you go pre-fish it on a Wednesday if you can, the fish will be at their peak of non-pressure at that time and bite more readily. That gives you a better idea of where they really are. If you want to send me an instant message, I can recommend a spot or two. Catch you later.

General reports posted here are nice for everyone. Give what you feel like and don't go into specifics you don't want to. St. Clair is as popular as ever. You're a lucky person to live that close to such a great lake. I probably wouldn't stay married if I did.
In the past on Wixom, I have found smallies bite better during the week and largemouths during the weekend than smallies in general. I've caught some great L. bass out there fishing jig-n-pig, Carolina rig and buzzbaits along weedlines and over stump/weed flats.
Do you know how to us the forum private message feature? You can leave a personal private message for anyone on the board that they will get next time they log in to the forum. Most members have at least two icons under their name on their posts. Usually one is for a form to forward email and the other is the private message (pm) button. Some member block others from seeing their email address, but the board will still forward an email to them.
