There will be an Open tournament on Kent Lake soon. We are still working out the details. As soon as we finalize a date and time, i will share all the details. Hoping to make it happen in the next 2 weeks. Who would be interested in fishing a 2 man team event for around $75/team and 90% payback? PoorBoy himself

This one should be a blast... On a somewhat related note, I have been working on adding a blog to my website. I have added the blog, but have not linked it directly to my homepage. My first posting is about the "Chiller Thriller", and I will post results there if anyone is interested. If anyone would like a preview, click here: home.wideopenwest.com/~jeffcheetam/blog.htmHey Dan- I changed internet providers, so the link you have on your homepage is no longer valid. Us the URL above and just cut off the blog.htm part...Thanks!

Well, I'm bummed, but I won't be there after all. I fished all day at Kent. I covered the majority of the lake South of both beaches. I fished deep, shallow, around weeds, stumps, rocks, and sand. I fished slow and fast, Jerkbaits, Tubes, Lipless Cranks, Crankbaits, Senkos, Spinnerbaits, etc. Fished droppoffs, ledges, flats. The results? NOTHING. Not even a bite. What a dissapointing day. The only thing I didn't try because I ran out of time was go North and fish the shallow stuff. With money being tight right now, I just can't see being a donor for this one. As much as I'd love to fish this tourney, I'm gonna have to pass. Perhaps next year I'll be a better fisherman and be able to compete, but this time of year is really tough for me. If it weren't so late in the game, I'd volunteer to be a nonboater and fish with someone who experienced on Kent this time of year. If anyone thinks they'll be able to find fish and needs a nonboating partner, I'd probably be willing. I'll be home to check my PM's later tonight if anyone needs a partner. Anyway, since I had such a bad day today, I'll most likely be sitting this one out. I'm bummed..but what can I do.. Well, now that my self-esteem is totally trashed, I guess I'll go have dinner.

Yep, that was me. I had a couple of my friends with me. Do you have any more luck than me? I think I saw you by the launch fishing right? Was that you in the Stratos? By the way, how did the tournament go? Were any limits brought in? How and where do you get em?

Yeah, I think I remember seeing a truck drive by while we were in that area. Lots of people were fishing in that marina. I figured it must have been some kind of little bluegill club or something. They were all using bobbers and what looked like live bait. So that wasn't you in the Stratos. I wonder who that was? Sorry to hear it tough on Cass Sunday.
