I've gotten out on St. Clair a couple of times during the past 2 weeks. I can't get anything going out there. Anyone else have any success on St. Clair lately? Any suggestions for finding bass with these cold temps we're getting this weekend? I was thinking of getting out on Friday, but with the bad results I've been getting out there, I'm wondering if it's a waste of time. I never do well this time of year on that lake.

Go shallow, reaction baits to find them. I've found some big schools this time of year. -Matt

Haven't been there lately but the last to years we have caught them really good on SC on the south side just east of the the Detroit River. White crankbaits and crawdad color cranks in about four foot of water. You have to find the little rock piles though.

I am up and ready to leave this morning. Myself and my neighbor down the street Dave are going out to St. Clair. I will be picking him up at 0700 hours. We are going in at St. Jeans launch in Detroit near DaimlerChryslers Jefferson North Assembly Plant. This is a good launch to go in at if you are going to fish the south end of St. Clair. This will probably be my last time on St. Clair this year although you never know. Not planning on winterizing my boat until maybe Election Day. ;D
