Just curious if anyone is planning on fishing the Shiver tomorrow. I'm surprised it's actually gonna happen considering the wind forcast. However, I've been wanting to try one of these, so I'll likely give it a try if my partner can make it. Anyone else?
If I don't have a partner, is anyone interested in partnering up for what will likely be the last tourney of the season?

As it turns out the guy who would have been my partner dumped. So I need a partner for Saturday. Anyone interested? We can use my boat and I'll cover the fuel cost.

Wish I would have gotten this earlier. It's now 1:20am. Wouldn't think of calling that late. Wish it would have worked out. I guess I could use the sleep though since I'm up so late tonight.

Paul Sacks held the tournament on St. Clair out of Harley Ensign. Wish I could have fished it. Is anyone interested in a Golden Rule tournament next weekend...perhaps an Oakland County inland lake? It seems a shame to quit the season after such a nice day like today.
Perhaps I'll post this idea.

Did you hear how many they had or what kind of weight won it? One more tournament would be nice, I like Cass. The big water is dangerous this time of year. Next weekend calls for 45 and winds under 10.

I haven't heard about how it went, but I'll email him right now and ask.
Cass would be cool. I also like Maceday/Lotus this time of year. It's "smaller" water. I'll post this question and see if we can get enough guys to have a tourney.

According to Paul Sacks, 5 boats showed up for the event. 3 limits were taken and the others zeroed. The winning weight was 10.8 lbs. Wish I could have been there.

I would love to fish another tourney if we can get it going. I would have to fish as a non boat since I just put my boat up for the year and it is in the pole barn up north. But I would be definatly interested. Any inland lake would be great Cass, maybe Union is another option some good smallies in there and largemouths. But whatever let me know what the plans are.

Me too, but it looks like so far, we're the only two. I posted the idea of a tourney this weekend, but no one has responded to it. Well, it looks like the season might actually be over. Monday my boat is going to get it's new gas tank, then winterized.

I can't do it this weekend. Sorry guys. Gonna be cold too. Brrrrr!
I'm still going to hold off on the boat for a little while yet.

I like cass for the canals, as I remeber Union doesn't have any canals and only two bays not much protection from the wind, but the smallies out there are worth it.
