I don't know how it went, but i do know that one of the guys fishing it has some big rocks! We had a club tourney out of Metro yesterday. The guys that won our tourney were set up in the river, fishing a spot they had marked with a bouy. A guy comes right up on them and starts fishing their bouy. The guy even hooks the bouy!! Nice job! Show some class and give some space.

i have had that happen to me in some club tournaments. i feel bad for those people. its one thing to fish someones spot if they arent fishing it but to pull right up on someone and fish while they are there is just ridiculous. tell your friends to toss an open bottle of spike it into the other guys boat if this ever happens again. but they better hope he doesnt have any spike it as well. These guys are good sticks as well as good people. They didn't say anything, which shows a lot of class. Since i can't seem to catch anything, ever!, I would have opened my livewell and asked them if they wanted to cast in there. Of course i wouldn't have anything in it, never do, but i think they would get the point. To do that to a total stranger, man i got worked up about it and it didn't even happen to me!!!!

Maybe I should have resorted to fishing other's buoys. I think I've figured out my problem. The lead on my buoys is too (bright/dark/hard/soft/long/short) and every time I put it in the water, it scares the fish away. Another thought I had is every time it gets wet, it starts a chemical reaction that causes the fish to all vacate the area to avoid the byproduct of the reaction. It must be something, because it surely can't be the fact that I can't find or catch fish that makes me do poorly.
I caught a bag full of Cheetams that weighted a whoppin 10 something.

I caught my own buoy Sunday. Should I be mad at myself?

Eric, If you bent over in the bass tournament angler hunch and yelled GET THE NET! when you hooked the buoy, then you have nothing to be mad or ashamed of.
Bonus points if you set the hook hard and reeled really fast getting the buoy to make that wet 'helicopter' noise as it spun wildly in the water!!!
