Next season there will be a new division added to the Michigan American Bass Anglers trail. The new division will consist of 5 one day tournaments and 1 two day tournament. All the tournaments will take place on the following 3 lakes. Saginaw River/Bay, Lake St Clair, and the Detroit River. Details are still in the works but there is a tentative schedule made right now. 6/4/05 Saginaw River/Bay Essexville 6/18/05 Lake St Clair Compass Pointe Marine 7/9/05 Detroit River Elizabeth Park 7/23/05 Lake St Clair Compass Pointe Marine 8/6/05 Lake St Clair Compass Pointe Marine 8/19/05 - 8/20/05 Lake St Clair Compass Pointe Marine 2day Tourney. As i said, this is a tentative schedule and dates and locations are subject to change. This will be a good trail. We have some good sponsors lined up. This will still be a draw format. You do not have to own a boat to fish, non boaters are paired with boaters and get equal time to fish there own spots. Boaters and non boaters do not fish as a team. Its every angler for himself/herself. PoorBoy himself

Anthony will be running this division as well as district 7. i dont know who the ass. director is going to be for this district. he hasnt mentioned that to me. i doubt many of the district 7 members will fish this district. i guess a bunch of our regular co anglers wont be fishing the 2 day event on st clair this weekend. he switched the 2 day event to lobdell lake for the 2005 dist 7 season. i think a lot of the co anglers and members with smaller boats were complaining about fishing the 2 day event on such a big lake. this new district is going to be sweeeeet. maybe we can talk Lt. Dan into fishing with us next year cheetam, call me. i know where there are bunch of schooling sheepies. i can put you on them for this weekend. i may be fishing them as well since i cant find any bass out there. PoorBoy himself Sorry - had to add the '.' in the assistant director abbreviation. I have to have some standards... actually, I thought the abbreviation for assistant was asst.? djk
